How do I send out an e-newsletter only to subscribers who viewed/clicked a previous email?

It is easy to send an email to a specific group who either did or didn’t perform an action in a previous email.¬† For example, you can use this feature to send out some more information to folks that showed a particular interest in a product or service.

Your options are to send to:

  • All Subscribers with no clicks for a previous Newsletter
  • All Subscribers with no views for a previous Newsletter
  • All Subscribers with no views or clicks for a previous Newsletter
  • All Subscribers with no clicks for a previous Campaign
  • All Subscribers with no views for a previous Campaign
  • All Subscribers with no views or clicks for a previous Campaign
  • All Subscribers with 1 or more clicks for a previous Campaign
  • All Subscribers with 1 or more views for a previous Campaign
  • All Subscribers with no bounces for a previous Campaign¬† – This option would send to everyone that previously received the email regardless of whether they viewed the email.
  • All Subscribers that bounced for a previous Campaign – This option would send to everyone that didn’t receive a previous email.
  • Subscriber Subset based on Link Clicks – This option would send to folks if they clicked a specific link in an e-newsletter

Please note the difference between a “newsletter” and a “campaign” is that a newsletter includes all of the times that email may have been sent out, whereas campaign is only the single time you sent the email.

To send out an email to a particular group of recipients, send out an e-newsletter as normal but in the Recipient drop down menu select the appropriate option.

Once you are done, click the “Update Subscriber Count” button to see how many people you will be sending the e-newsletter to.¬† Complete the rest of the steps as normal and click the “Send Newsletter” button.
